Mediation is not a legal process but it can help you in resolving your legal issues. Often times it is difficult to understand the other party's position or goal in resolving a family law matter, a contract dispute, or employment issue. As a Mediator, I guide the conversation between parties to achieve a path to resolution. The resolution is yours and yours alone.
Mediation is confidential and conversations that take place in mediation cannot be used in court.
Why mediation? It is less costly than attorney fees and it provides a way for each party to be heard thus reaching a solution crafted by the parties rather than the courts.
The parties craft a term sheet that they present to an attorney. Your attorney will then create the appropriate legal document.
